Peace of Mind carpet pricing currently ranges from approximately $4.50 to $11.00 per square foot, with our average sale around $5.50 per square foot.
That square-foot price includes the selected carpet, basic installation, removal of the existing flooring, standard furniture moving and stair labour. Work outside the basic scope, such as significant floor repairs, specialized removal or unusual access, is identified separately in the written estimate.
From time to time, selected specials may be available below $4.50 per square foot. Product, colour and quantity are subject to availability and are confirmed during the free in-home estimate.

Measurement and material planning
Room measurements determine more than square footage.
Carpet is normally supplied in fixed roll widths. A professional measure accounts for room dimensions, closets, alcoves, doorways and the direction the carpet should run. The required quantity is based on a workable layout, not simply the floor area shown on a real-estate listing.
Pattern repeats, pile direction and irregular room shapes can increase the amount of material required. Connected rooms may also need to be planned together so the carpet direction and transitions make sense from one space to the next.

Preparing the property
Furniture, removal and access should be settled in advance.
Furniture moving and removal or disposal of existing flooring can be included when they are identified and priced in the written scope. Small belongings, electronics, breakables and items on shelves or flat surfaces should be removed before the crew arrives.
Condominiums, rentals and managed properties may require elevator reservations, delivery windows, security procedures, parking arrangements, proof of insurance or limits on working hours. Sharing those requirements during the estimate helps prevent avoidable delays on installation day.
The work area and access route should be available at the agreed time. If the customer is completing part of the preparation, that work must be finished before the installers arrive unless another arrangement is confirmed.

Installation and finishing
The installation method must suit the carpet and the space.
Most residential broadloom is installed over underpad, secured around the perimeter and stretched into place. The crew joins approved seams, fits the carpet at walls and fixed features, and completes the transitions included in the written scope. Some carpet products or property types use a different installation method, which should be identified before work begins.
Door clearance, trim, vents, baseboards and connections to hard-surface floors can affect the finishing details. Existing site conditions and the approved scope determine whether doors need adjustment or whether transition pieces, minor trim work or other finishing items are required.
