Carpet tile products and backings do not all use the same installation system. The appropriate adhesive, placement method and preparation depend on the selected material, the substrate, manufacturer instructions and conditions at the property.
Existing hard-surface flooring may sometimes remain, but only after its material, stability and condition are assessed. Carpet tile is not installed over existing carpet. Repairs, levelling, moisture-related work or removal may be required before installation.

Furniture moving and removal or disposal of existing flooring can be included when they are identified and priced in the written scope. Customers may also choose to complete approved preparation themselves before the installation date.

How long does carpet tile installation take?
Timing depends on the area, layout, preparation, access and approved project scope. Your written estimate and scheduling discussion will provide the most useful project-specific guidance.
Can carpet tile be installed over an existing floor?
Sometimes, when the existing hard surface is stable, suitable and properly prepared. It cannot be installed over existing carpet. The estimator must assess the actual conditions.
When can the new carpet tile be walked on?
Follow the instructions provided for the exact product and installation system. Adhesive and site conditions may require restricted traffic for a period after installation.
Can damaged tiles be replaced later?
Often, provided matching spare material is available and the installation system allows individual removal. Retaining extra tiles from the original project is recommended.
Do you move furniture or remove old flooring?
Those services can be included in the written project scope. Requirements and pricing depend on the furniture, existing flooring, access and other site details.
What warranty applies?
