Is all vinyl flooring waterproof?
Water performance varies by product and installation. A waterproof product does not eliminate the need to consider seams, edges, subfloor moisture, room conditions, and manufacturer requirements.
Does the subfloor need preparation?
The subfloor generally needs to meet the selected product’s requirements for flatness, cleanliness, stability, and moisture. Preparation needs are reviewed before installation.
What is the difference between LVP and sheet vinyl?
Luxury vinyl plank uses individual planks, usually with a wood look. Sheet vinyl is installed in wider rolls and may reduce the number of seams. Product availability and suitability depend on the room and project.
Do I need to move furniture or remove the old flooring first?
Usually, no. We can arrange to move standard furniture, remove and dispose of the old flooring, and give the work area a quick vacuum when the installation is complete. We review heavy, fragile, electronic, specialty, and built-in items during your estimate so you know exactly what is included before installation day.
